TwinCAN

TwinCAN is a stand alone CAN controller developed by Infineon. The CAN controller core is also used inside the new 16-bit micros XC16x and inside the TriCore? controllers.

Twin CAN supports up to 32 message buffers (CAN-message mail box). Each one can be configured as one single transmit or receive object, or some of them, power of two, can be used to build a receive fifo.
